On November 28, 2024, Elham Mozaffari, Digibot’s Chief Technology Officer, attended a series of strategic sessions at DMZ, a startup incubator in Toronto.

In her words
Elham shared what the experience meant for the team:
“It is important to be surrounded by inspired leaders, those passionate about developing their innovative products, and share our goals, experiences, and achievements.”
Where Digibot was at that point
By late 2024, Digibot had come a long way from its first prototype in 2021. We had filed an international patent application for our soft wearable robot, built virtual reality software that connects to the glove, and received letters of interest and feedback from physiotherapists. In early 2024 we completed the final version of the glove, a lightweight wearable made from soft elastomeric materials and powered by air pressure.
Why it matters
Building a medical device company means learning from other founders. Sessions like this one offer advice and a community of people on the same path.
